- Greetings Hiphoppas! It is hard to believe that this is the fifth Hip Hop in the Park festival. It seems like only a short time ago that we all got together and put on the first big show on the new stage in Louise McKinney Park. Now we are a staple festival that kicks off the season in Canada’s festival city. We are proud to put on one of Canada’s largest Hip Hop festivals right here in Edmonton... and to have been doing it for 5 years now.
- This year being are 5th year, our planning committee has worked extra hard to make this Hip Hop in the Park our best yet! We have events throughout the entire week ranging from spoken word, to dance, to MC battles. All in celebration of Hip Hop Appreciation week. This year to close the week off we've teamed up alongside Jak Move & Urban DNA to bring you RAKIM Live in concert! Check our events section for more details.
