I am writing today to let you all know about our annual festival. This year, we are planning to do it over by naked cafe in the parking lot. Also, due to venue complications we have had to move the date to May 31. We are set to have an awesome day. There will still be painting and food and rap and DJ's and dancing... same show... new location!
I also would like to explain why we are doing it in the parking lot as opposed to the lovely louise mckinney park. It is a simple answer... it costs $4000 to throw that show in the park. It will not cost near that much to throw it at naked cafe. This means we can start to grown and build our festival instead of struggle to break even every year. I love the park too... but we all learned last year at ISBE that it is not required to have a great day.
That being said... here are the performers that were selected for the main stage on May 31. Please note that we had a huge number of applicants and we just do not have time to put everyone on... keep at it and your time will certainly come.
